Questions before you enquire

How much does a trip cost?

Every trip is planned around your dates, group and stay, so we quote on request. Send us your tentative dates and group size and we reply within two working days. Nothing is charged until you confirm.

Do I need a guide?

No. A local guide is optional. Many first-time visitors choose one because rituals are often family occasions, and a guide explains each step and helps you take part respectfully.

Can I choose my dates?

Theyyam season runs from late October to May. Give us tentative dates, flexible is fine, and we suggest the best weeks, then confirm the rituals closer to travel.

Can I join a group or travel privately?

Both. You can join a small group, or travel privately with friends or family.

Can I take photos or video?

Not always. Many shrines ban photography and video, some for the whole ritual. Your guide tells you the rules at each place, and we suggest you simply be present.

Is it suitable for children and older travellers?

Yes, with planning. Rituals run late and involve standing, so we adjust the pace and seating.

Not sure which trip fits?

Tell us your tentative dates and group. We will suggest the right one.
